Task blog

For the past few months we’ve been focusing a great deal of our time and resources on helping to automate last mile logistics for non profits using Task.

It started with Food Banks after we discovered one of our developers was running a Food Bank on WhatsApp. We migrated his operation onto Task and by doing so saved his team valuable time, as well as helping them to raise funds by exposing their work to the Donor community via a Task project page.

And it’s not just Food Banks, Task can be setup for any non profit with logistical processes, examples include Animal Rescue, Animal Food Banks, Conservation and Agricultural Charities.

So, how can you get your organization up and running?

This question keeps coming up and so we wanted to outline and share the process:

  1. Firstly you need to sign up with a Task account. Click on this link and choose a 14 day free trial on the Starter Plan. Once up and running we’ll provide you with a discount voucher against the future costs.
  2. Next, decide if you want to manage the onboarding process yourself. It’s quite straightforward, you just need a little time. We’ve created a free Udemy course to help you get going. If you don’t have time yourself, maybe ask one of your volunteers or even a family member to help out.
  3. If you need someone from Task to assist, we have various support packages available to get you up and running. To find out more please book a meeting at the Task Team Page. We will jump on zoom with you to understand your requirements and advise what's needed.

We hope this helps and we look forward to making your job easier so you can focus on creating greater impact. If you'd like to know more about how Task can help, check out the latest video on delivery and route mapping.

We’re also looking at other easy ways our tech can be put to good use, so if you have ideas then please get in touch at

We’d love to hear from you!
